What type of events can your space facilitate?
We have a wide variety of spaces that will meet your conference need. Our spaces can be rented for: holiday receptions, seminars, professional meetings, product launching, networking, award receptions, charity functions, trade shows, birthday parties, weddings, talent shows etc.

What is the square footage and capacity for your meeting/event spaces?
Each of our rooms are unique, the capacity may be 200 but based on the set-up you choose the capacity will change. Please speak with our Conference Coordinator about your room choice and you will be guided on the best set-up to meet your event needs.
What forms of dining do you have on campus?
Dining at NJIT is provided by Gourmet Dining Services. Gourmet Dining is the premier food service company serving New Jersey and is New Jersey’s largest regional dining service company. If you would like to add catering to your event, please let our Conference Coordinator know.

Where will my guests park?
Parking is available on campus and will be reserved by our Conference Coordinator for you and your guests.
Do I need to be campus affiliated to reserve a space?
You do not have to be a student, faculty or staff, anyone interested in hosting an event can inquire and reserve a space with us. We do require that clients agree to our “Conference Agreement” before proceeding.

What if my media equipment stops working during the event?
We encourage all groups to request a media technician for their event, if media services is required, there is an hourly fee to have a technician on site.
Do you require insurance?
Facility users shall procure and maintain, and require its contractors and subcontractors to procure and maintain insurance to adequately protect NJIT from claims for bodily and personal injury, including death, and damage to property that may arise or result from the use of the Space. Evidence of coverage in item(s) will be documented to NJIT by the transmission of a Certificate of Insurance. Coverage information is detailed in our "Facility Use Policy."

What is your policy regarding minors?
When minors are participants or attendees, NJIT requires that a parent, guardian or responsible adult(s) or staff member accompany children under 18 years of age. Children are not permitted into the facility/event unescorted without appropriate supervision; unless the minor is currently enrolled as a NJIT student; or if the minor is a participant in a University sponsored program. The University reserves the right to terminate an event if sufficient adult supervision is not present throughout the event or usage of the facilities.
Do you provide housing?
If you need housing for your group for an extended period, our Conference Coordinator will work with our Residential Life team to secure spaces that will achieve your intended needs. For short term stays, please see our “Area Resources and Accommodations tab."
For non-profit organizations, is proof required?
Yes, organization's who indicate that they are not-for-profit must provide proof at the time of reservation.
What is the cost of your venues?
Our venue cost varies based on size, occupancy and if your organization is for-profit or not-for-profit. Please contact our Conference Coordinator for pricing information.
